People say that if you really want to enjoy a good bottle of wine, you have to share it with your friends during a dinner. You need to discuss a perfect match between wine and food, appreciate combinations, flavours and so on…!

But what if sometimes you just want to stay alone and treat yourself with a very good wine?!
I will answer to that with my favorite Bette Davis words:

I’d luv to kiss ya, but I just washed my hair

which means that you don’t need to explain yourself!

How many times you thought that is better to keep an amazing wine for a special occasion?! Don’t! There are million of reasons to drink it alone and have fun!

For me the best one is hedonistic pleasure of matching wine and music, but feel free to choose your own way to break rules!

Here’s mine…

A Good Wine, obviously!

And a Playlist like this:

1. Mylène Farmer – Libertine
2. Talking Heads – Burning down the house
3. Dusty Springfield – In Private
4. Pet Shop Boys – What have I done to deserve it
5. Motorhead/Iggy Pop – Louie Louie
6. Hole – Celebrity skin
7. Siouxsie and the Banshees – Kiss them for me
8. Patti Smith – Gloria

P.S. – I couldn’t decide which interpretation of Louie Louie I like more… It’s like choosing between french and german riesling. They are both great!

P.S. 2 – I suggest you to drink a red wine with a nice acidity, the playlist is a little bit puffy and definitely should be balanced!

STAY TUNED & ENJOY WINE!
