Do you know what is the peculiarity of Pugnitello grape variety?

It’s that its grapes are enclosed and small, recalling in fact the shape of a fist. Now try to figure out to produce a wine with a non collaborative grape like this one. Done? Now imagine yourself doing a 100% Pugnitello wine. Maybe then you’ll understand the love that is behind Due Venti by Anima Mundi. A passion that is enhanced by the choice to produce it only with organic processes. And it’s thanks to this brave choices and without any compromise that Podere Anima Mundi became a member of  VinNatur – Associazione Viticoltori Naturali.

But don’t get tricked by the organic label, cause the aromas and complexities of this nectar will put the ethical production philosophy of Marta Sierota, owner of this winery from the province of Pisa, in the background. The wine is aged for 6 months in old French oak barrels, then follows a refinement in the bottle. Intense garnet colour, purple shades, notes of blackberry, cranberries, blackcurrants, juniper, liquorice, leather and tobacco. With its body and complexity Due Venti will awake your senses sinuously.

Where can you taste it? If the 17th and the 18th of March you will be in Rome, you’ll find 2 Venti and Marta Sierota among the desks of  Vignaioli Artigiani Naturali, where with the glass in your hand you’ll realise that we didn’t exaggerate at all.
